White Sands Singapore Overview

Owned by Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT), White Sands Shopping Mall, popularly known as White Sands, is a five-story shopping centre located in Pasir Ris, Singapore. White Sands mall has two additional stories of basement parking and a basement with retail stores. White Sands is also situated right next to the Pasir Ris MRT station and Pasir Ris Bus Interchange.

Due to White Sands shopping centre’s close proximity to Pasir Ris Bus Interchange, where conscripted soldiers are dropped off from the army camp on Pulau Tekong, White Sands mall often serves as a meeting place for them in Singapore.

OCBC Properties Pte Ltd created White Sands, which debuted as Pasir Ris’s first sizable shopping mall in 1997. The original White Sands shopping centre featured an Eng Wah cinema, Singapore’s first Timezone arcade (at the time the biggest arcade in Singapore), a food court, a John Little department store, a Courts store, a Popular bookstore, the neighborhood post office, an NTUC FairPrice supermarket and more. The Pasir Ris Public Library (which opened in October 2000) within White Sands. In 2004, the mall was sold to ARMF Pte Ltd. It is now currently owned by Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT).
